Add items to your vault

Add items to your vault individually from the web or mobile apps. If you'd like to add items that you have stored in another password manager, you may be able to import them.

Add items on web

1. From your desktop, open your Okta Personal vault. 
2. Click Add.
3. Select the type of item you'd like to add.
4. Give the item a title (required), and additional information you'd like to save.
5. Click Save.

Add items on iOS

1. From your mobile device, open your Okta Personal vault. 
2. Tap the plus sign icon to add an item.
3. Select the type of item you'd like to add.
4. Give the item a title (required), and additional information you'd like to save.
5. Tap Save.

Add items on Android

1. From your mobile device, open your Okta Personal vault. 
2. Tap Add.
3. Select the type of item you'd like to add.
4. Give the item a title (required), and additional information you'd like to save.
5. Tap Save.

Add items from the Okta browser plugin

To add items from the browser plugin, first you'll need to install the Okta Browser Plugin. Once you've installed it, follow the steps below:

1. From your desktop, click the Okta extension icon in your task bar to open your Okta Personal vault. 
2. Click the plus sign icon to add an item. Your Okta Personal vault will open on the web.
3. Click Add.
4. Select the type of item you'd like to add.
5. Give the item a title (required), and additional information you'd like to save.
6. Click Save.
