Delete your Okta Personal account
If you don’t want to use Okta Personal, you can delete your account and erase all of your information. Please use caution — deleting your account is permanent and can’t be reversed.
Here’s what happens when you delete your account:
- You will permanently lose access to your Okta Personal vault.
- Your account and all of your personal data will be deleted.
Delete your account
- From your mobile device, open Okta Personal.
- Tap Account, then Account options.
- Tap Delete account, and Continue to proceed.
- Enter the 6-digit code that was sent to your email address to confirm it’s you.
- Tap Delete my account.
Note: Your account can only be deleted via the mobile app. If you’re having trouble, contact us at [email protected] for help.
What to expect
In the future, you can create a new account and use the same email address, if you'd like.
