Export data from Okta Personal

Okta Personal helps you store and manage logins and personal information securely, but sometimes you may want to export your data — for example, to transfer to another Okta Personal vault or migrate to another password manager. Here are the steps to export your data safely.


Export data from Okta Personal

Desktop (Recommended)

  1. In a desktop browser, visit your Okta Personal dashboard.
  2. Click your account menu in the top right, then click Settings.
  3. Tap Export next to the type of data you want to export: App data or Personal data
  4. Tap Download.

Mobile

  1. From your mobile device, open Okta Personal. 
  2. Tap Account, then Account options
  3. Select Export my apps.
  4. Sign in and navigate to your Okta Personal dashboard in a browser.
  5. Click your account menu in the top right, then click Settings.
  6. Tap Export next to the type of data you want to export: App data or Personal data
  7. Tap Download.

Note: The CSV export only includes login items saved in your vault, and doesn’t include custom fields like security notes or two-factor authentication codes. Notes and addresses can’t be exported at this time.
